TIPS is a training program where participants learn and understand basic information about alcohol and its effects. TIPS for Concessions is designed for community events, sports stadiums, civic centers, arenas and other festivities. All dates listed will be held at the Harms Advanced Technology Center in Scottsbluff.

  • Trauma Informed Care with an emphasis on children in foster care

Trauma Informed Care is a foundational skill for working in Youth and Family systems.  This one day training will provide an overview of Trauma Informed Care, learn to focus on a common language and practice the tools to get started.  

6 hours of educational hours will be given for the training.

  • foundations of personal finance

A five-module personal finance workshop for families and case managers.  An additional 2 hour session on “Integrating Financial Case Management into Tradition Case Management” for direct service personnel will follow the personal finance workshop (last 2 hours of class).  Please share the printable flyers for Families or Case Managers.  **Case Managers are encouraged to attend both sessions.**

  • ADVANCED SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER COURSE 

​​This 24-hour / 3 day course is designed for any law enforcement officer working in an educational environment.  This course, following the SRO Triad model, advances the SRO's knowledge and skills as a law enforcement officer, informal counselor, and educator. Within this course are oral presentations, videotaped practical exercises, and multiple discussions.  Attendees will need to sign in with their own user name and profile on the NASRO web page in order to register for the training.

This is an 8-hour training course that teaches you how to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.  Youth Mental Health First Aid reviews the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents.  This course is intended for anyone wanting to learn how to help young people.
