​​ The Nebraska Radon Program, Nebraska Department of Health & Human Services has scheduled the following approved continuous education training.  This is a required course for meeting the continuous education requirement of the Nebraska Real Estate Commission.

  • RBST (RESPONSIBLE BEVERAGE SERVER TRAINING)

RBST educates owners, managers, servers and sellers at alcohol establishments about strategies to avoid illegally selling tobacco or alcohol to underage youth or intoxicated patrons. 2 WORKSHOPS AVAILABLE.  ATTEND BOTH WORKSHOPS IN ONE FULL DAY IN SCOTTSBLUFF OR ATTEND ONLY BEYOND POVERTY IN  A 3 HOUR EVENING IN KIMBALL.

Change Your Language, Change Their Lives:
Learn the four powerful "Languages of the Brain" that will transform the lives of the children you serve.  Walk away with a new way of talking to your that builds resilience, promotes intrinsic motivation, enhances cognitive stimulation and creates kaleidoscope thinkers.
Beyond Poverty:
Learn the specific damage that occurs in the developing brain that's been exposed to poverty, the impact of that damage in the classroom and the community, and the interventions that can be used to overcome poverty's effects.

​This workshop focuses on the use of social media in disaster preparedness, response, and recovery. This training will be held on May 7, 2015 at Prairie Winds Community Center in Bridgeport, NE.

  • RESPITE TRAINING USING THE REST MODEL

Respite Providers, Potential providers and/or Family Caregivers register today for this unique, interactive and fun training program.  Receive the education & tools needed to be confident and successful in providing respite care to adults and children. This training will be held on May 19th at Prairie Winds Community Center in Bridgeport, NE.

  • TIPS (TRAINING FOR INTERVENTION PROCEDURES)

TIPS is a training program where participants learn and understand basic information about alcohol and its effects. TIPS for Concessions is designed for community events, sports stadiums, civic centers, arenas and other festivities. All dates listed will be held at the Harms Advanced Technology Center in Scottsbluff.   • ADVANCED SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER COURSE​​​

​​This 24-hour / 3 day course is designed for any law enforcement officer working in an educational environment.  This course, following the SRO Triad model, advances the SRO's knowledge and skills as a law enforcement officer, informal counselor, and educator. Within this course are oral presentations, videotaped practical exercises, and multiple discussions.  Attendees will need to sign in with their own user name and profile on the NASRO web page in order to register for the training.

$345.00 Member Registration Fee or $395.00 Non-Member Registration Fee.  ​
