​​This 40-hour course is designed for any law enforcement officer or school administrator working in an educational environment.  The course emphasizes three main areas of instruction: Functioning as a police officer in the school setting, Working as a resource and problem solver, Developing teaching skills. Attendees will gain a solid working knowledge of the School Resource Officer concept and how to establish a lasting partnership with their schools.  Attendees will need to create their own user name and profile on the NASRO web page in order to register for the training.   ​$495.00 Registration Fee.

  • NSC Driver Safety Training 

​​This 5-hour instructor led classroom course now offers greater flexibility for organizations who would like to customize session blocks.  This course will motivate participants to change their behind the wheel behaviors and attitudes.  It will give them key understanding, skills and techniques to avoid collisions and reduce future violations.  The result is a more responsible driver who grasps best practices to prevent injury and death while operating a motor vehicle. ​$70.00 Registration Fee includes lunch.

  • The Impact of toxic stress on the developing child and the protective power of secure care-giver/Parent child relationship Workshop

​​During this workshop the participant will learn about how experiences, both positive and negative change the brains of children and adults.  Learn about how traumatic toxic stress impacts child development and parent child relationships.  Dr. Mark Hald presents how we can all as parents, educators or care-givers work together to promote healthy relationships and prevent trauma and heal after problems arise.

The experiential learning process and review of previous products will result in regional decisions regarding a collaborative agreement about social entrepreneurship as a viable framework for pursuing new levels of community and social development in the Panhandle.
