  • ADVANCED SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER COURSE 

​​This 24-hour / 3 day course is designed for any law enforcement officer working in an educational environment.  This course, following the SRO Triad model, advances the SRO's knowledge and skills as a law enforcement officer, informal counselor, and educator. Within this course are oral presentations, videotaped practical exercises, and multiple discussions.  Attendees will need to sign in with their own user name and profile on the NASRO web page in order to register for the training.

This is an 8-hour training course that teaches you how to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.  Youth Mental Health First Aid reviews the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents.  This course is intended for anyone wanting to learn how to help young people.

  • Bridges out of poverty

Bridges out of Poverty helps employers, community organizations, social service agencies, law enforcement, and individuals address and reduce poverty in a comprehensive way. Bridges brings people from all sectors and economic classes together to build resources, improve outcomes, and support those who are moving out of poverty.  If your organization works with people from poverty, only a deeper understanding of their challenges and strengths will help you partner to create successful opportunities for everyone.   

Day One - Bridges out of Poverty - A breakthrough approach to greater effectiveness for community organizations.  This training looks at research on th causes of poverty, "hidden rules of class", language,

an assessment of resources, and much more.

Day Two - Applying Bridges Concepts - Making Programs and Structures More Effective - Teaches specific

strategies to develop skills of front-line staff, build mediation skills, develop future stories, provide mentoring and more.  Ideas for changing program design, policies, and procedures to work more effectively.

Two Day Workshop Registration Fee $50.00

  • TIPS (TRAINING FOR INTERVENTION PROCEDURES)

TIPS is a training program where participants learn and understand basic information about alcohol and its effects. TIPS for Concessions is designed for community events, sports stadiums, civic centers, arenas and other festivities. All dates listed will be held at the Harms Advanced Technology Center in Scottsbluff.
